SKINNY MYTH:  “Muscle weighs more than fat”

Myth.  A pound of fat and a pound of muscle weigh the same…a pound!

The misunderstanding comes from the fact that muscle takes up less volume than the same weight in fat.

Since muscle is denser and more compact than fat, losing fat pounds and gaining muscle make you appear skinnier, even if  you might not have lost any pounds that week.

You might NOT have lost weight on the scale, but you HAVE lost a dress size.
